“Saturnalia” carries the documentation value of artist’s aesthetic interference at a sub-culture party in Istanbul, Turkey. By artists’s placement of an altar in a modern day party, a bridge between extremism in ancient rituals and it’s modern provision is emphasized. As video displays the cooperative friendliness in the party, it documents the ways of resistance in micro-utopic communities and ritual like ecstacy.
