Dikephobia
video installation and participatory art project, 11'25'', 2019
Me, my teacher and two of his students, we discussed our private fears and the relation between the power knowledge and phenomenon of Dikephobia (fear of judgement). As we share our fears, roles of teacher-student hierarchy becomes unclear. All this happens in an university which is considered as where the true knowledge is processed. The discussion is recorded and I made an animation which reanimates the discussion with new forms and space.
In the video, this discussion is performed by our virtual representations. The conversation and unanswered questions are transferred to spectators (with power of music and humor).
