"The Flying Jellyfish Phenomenon" is a 32 minutes of mockumentary video. I was drawing some jellyfish like creatures since 2012 and collecting them on sketchbooks. In the plot of this mockumentary, people in Turkey hysterically see visions of the same creatures as the ones I was drawing. The video includes my interviews with the witnesses and discussions about these visions, life and art.

This mockumentary is aimed to raise questions about the contrast of archives on reality and the reality of one's personal experience and the realiton of artist's role about all of these. It also reflects the twisted reality of people in Turkey in the era of post-truth.
